Cookie and Storage Policy
Effective date: 26 October 2026
This policy explains the browser storage and cookies used by the Ficious public websites and apps, and the choices available to you.
1. What the websites store
The marketing sites store your language preference in browser local storage so it remains selected between visits. The public aquarium-card pages offer optional first-party analytics that are off until you accept; if accepted, the browser stores that choice and the service records the opaque share-link ID associated with the card owner, the event type, and a server timestamp for card views and app or store-link taps. Those records contain no direct account ID, IP address, user agent, or client-supplied metadata.
2. Account and app sessions
Administrative and authenticated areas use session technologies needed to sign you in and protect your account. The mobile apps store settings and cached account information on the device so the interface can open quickly and work offline. Connected-device features may request permissions needed for a feature you choose, such as camera access to scan a QR code.
3. What we do not use
The public marketing pages do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide the required choices before the new use begins.
4. Managing your choices
You can decline or change the optional analytics choice from the controls on the aquarium-card page, and you can clear or block storage in your browser. Blocking storage may reset your language choice or affect a related feature. Device permissions can be changed in your operating-system settings.
